Business Interruption Consultant – Zurich Insurance
Working hours: part‑time, job share or full‑time basis. Location: Home‑based with travel to Zurich offices and client premises in the UK. Salary: Competitive, plus car and allowances. Closing date: 3rd December 2025.

As a Business Interruption Consultant with Zurich Resilience Solutions, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients across the public and private sectors—from mid‑market to global organizations. Your expertise will help businesses understand their exposures and strengthen their ability to recover and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of pre‑loss Business Interruption reviews to provide clients with a clear understanding of loss scenarios emanating from property loss events.
- Analyse client operating models, financial reports and risk events to identify practical measures that mitigate business interruption losses.
- Build and nurture relationships with brokers, underwriters and relationship‑management colleagues to identify new opportunities and maintain a strong pipeline.
- Collaborate with Zurich colleagues globally to develop and deliver innovative Business Interruption services.
Qualifications
- In‑depth understanding of Business Interruption from a Risk Management, Consulting Claims or Underwriting perspective.
- Experience working with large corporate customers across a range of industries.
- Proven ability to advise on business interruption risks and communicate complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience generating and maintaining a sales pipeline in a consultancy role.
- Background in insurance or risk management.
- Knowledge of risk management and loss prevention practices.
- Familiarity with business continuity, interdependency analysis and supply chain risk management.
- Experience advising manufacturing, life sciences or pharmaceutical clients.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and client‑relationship skills.
- ACA / FCA (Chartered Accountant or Fellow Chartered Accountant, welcomed).
- 5+ years in business interruption claims, forensic accounting, business continuity or risk consulting.
