Risk Advisor (Graduate) (Start ASAP)

Risk Advisor role supporting client executives in Christchurch, focusing on portfolio management and client service at Marsh.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Support the management of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service at all times
• Collaborate with client executives and colleagues to implement business plans and achieve service standards
• Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision-makers, proactively identifying and addressing client needs
• Oversee the timely and accurate production of client-related documentation, including invoices, policy wordings, and renewal reports
• Ensure compliance with company systems and procedures, maintaining awareness of all clients\’ claim-related matters

About You

What you\’ll need:

• Interest or experience in pursuing a career within the insurance industry
• Commitment to obtaining or currently working towards the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 Version 2 or an equivalent qualification
• Dedication to quality in work performance and client services, with a passion for customer service
• Strong teamwork skills, maintaining solid working relationships with colleagues, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with various audiences
• Comprehensive planning and organisation skills to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time
• Sound listening and comprehension skills
• A proactive approach to learning and developing technical understanding of relevant insurance classes and specialist services
• An interest or background in transport or logistics is advantageous
