Private Client Senior Associate + Cardiff

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a senior private client lawyer to join a well established firm in South Wales. Our client has a long-standing presence in South Wales and boasts a highly regarded private client department recognised in the Legal 500.

Dependent on level of experience, this role can be considered at both the senior associate and, salaried partner level.

With an existing caseload and full support, you\’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the practice while working closely with a varied and loyal client base.

The Role:

• Managing and developing a busy caseload across wills, trusts, probate and estate planning
• Building new client relationships and driving business development efforts
• Working collaboratively across teams and contributing to wider firm strategy
• Leading with confidence and supporting colleagues with your experience

The role is hybrid, with a base at in their Cardiff office and occasional travel to Bridgend.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 7+ years PQE in Private Client work
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• A great communicator with proven ability to handle sensitive client matters
• Experience in a broad Private Client caseload, including trusts, wills, and estate admin
• STEP qualified (or working towards it) is a bonus
• Proactive approach to networking, community engagement, and business growth
