Fusion is looking to hire an experienced Event Manager for a full time, permanent position within their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, full-service agency with over 35 years’ experiential marketing and automotive events experience. From planning and ideation to event management and delivery, Fusion is focused on brand awareness, creativity, engagement, reach and sales conversion.

This is currently a hybrid position, working full-time, Monday – Friday, offering a minimum of 3 days in the office in Bedfordshire and 2 working from home if preferred. Due to the nature of live event days you will need to be flexible to be onsite.
The Role & Responsibilities:
Client Relationships:
- Working alongside the Account Manager and Event Production Team to feedback any event planning updates so that they can be passed onto the client.
Event Organisation & Management:
- Assist with management and delivery of multi-faceted events such as incentive trips, test drive campaigns, training events, brand partnerships and experiential activations.
- Assist with the event management process from planning, execution, and reconciliation. Including travel and accommodation booking, event documentation and templates, reporting and updating internal digital resources.
- There may be opportunities to project lead on some events throughout the year, with the guidance and support of other members of the team.
- Assist with the creation of bespoke event templates.
- Ability to coordinate the design, production, and installation of projects.
- An understanding of the existing event kit and the logistical implications of its use.
- Ensuring excellent customer service, guest management and quality delivery.
- Managing existing supplier relationships as well as sourcing new / alternative suppliers when required. Achieving cost efficiencies / profitability through supplier negotiation and management.
- Assisting with venue sourcing to suit the given brief and requirements, under the guidance of the account manager and senior member of Production team. Attend fact-finding site visits as required.
- Work with our inhouse talent team to source and appoint suitable casual event staff. Onsite management of these staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and presentation for their designated role.
- Consideration and understanding of event kits/ assets and the logistical implications of use.
- Assist with communication of all organisational event assets to all suppliers & promotional event staff.
Budget Management:
- Work alongside other members of the Production team to manage and control budgets per projects.
Health & Safety:
- An awareness and exposure to Health & Safety procedures and best practice.
- Able to write own health and safety documentation for small scale projects.
About You! Qualities, Competencies & Background:
- You are passionate about the events industry and highly motivated.
- You understand that being onsite at event times can mean long days and requires mental and physical stamina.
- You are resourceful, self-starting and have an excellent use of initiative.
- You are versatile, organised and flexible with excellent multi-tasking skills.
- You love spreadsheets and have an eye for spelling, punctuation and you take pride in the style of all documents that you work on.
- You are computer literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- You are a confident communicator (both verbal and written), capable of building strong, supportive relationships both internally and externally.
- You have attention to detail and work to a high standard.
- You can prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- You have a full UK driver’s licence and car (with no more than 6 penalty points), are confident driving a van when required and you are happy to get stuck into loading or unloading equipment.
