Express Recruitment are delighted to representing a global ERP supplier who are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator/Developer who is a proven CPQ, Apex and Sales Cloud Specialist to join their growing team of Salesforce professionals on a permanent basis with the option of working hybrid or remotely (candidates will be required to visit Lincoln or London offices on occasions).
The successful candidate will act as the subject matter expert for all internal system administration queries and issues, whilst taking ownership of maintaining the platform and getting your hands dirty in Apex development and CPQ support.
Their ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building scalable solutions across Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, as part of the companies transformation goal of launching a centralised application system, which will enhance collaboration across all major operation teams throughout out the group across the UK and Europe.
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of up to c£70,000 per annum D.O.E, with performance-based bonus up to 10% per annum, a generous benefits package including 38 days holiday yearly (including bank holidays), sick pay, life insurance scheme, and more!
Roles and Responsibilities
- Take ownership for debugging and enhancing Apex code, including CPQ logic and callback classes
- Configure and administer Salesforce to meet business needs, whilst ensuring maintaining system performance, security and efficiency
- Take ownership for enhancing Salesforce CPQ model including Quote Lines and Pricebook models
- Collaborate with wider Salesforce team during code reviews and development optimisation projects
- Maintain and expand quoting automation built on the CPQ Quote API
- Work closely with QA teams to track and debug the Salesforce system
- Conduct advanced data operations including SQL data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) across Salesforce and integrated systems
- Perform data updates and transformations using Data Loader, SOQL and Excel
- Provide ongoing technical support to internal end users across the group, whilst also formalising training workshop sessions to train focus groups on the roll out of new system features and functions
- Utilise Gearset and Git for version control and deployments
- Keep abreast of Salesforce product developments and trends, whilst identifying areas to implement process improvements through upgrades to latest versions
- Provide technical mentorship to the Salesforce development and wider admin teams
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience with Salesforce platform, with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and CPQ experience being highly desirable
- Salesforce certifications in Salesforce Platform Developer and CPQ Specialist highly desirable
- Proven Apex development skills, including expertise with batch classes, triggers and CPQ logic
- Demonstrable experience working with CPQ automation including renewal processes and quote status handling
- Experience configuring CPQ bundles and pricing/quote templates a big plus
- Demonstrable expertise with SQL, SOSL AND SOQL with the ability to perform data extraction & transformation commands
- Previous work experience with middleware integration tools such as MuleSoft preferred
- Well versed with Agile/SCRUM methodologies Able to confidently carry out data migration and governance processes
