This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of UserTesting. We are currently looking for a Senior UX Researcher in Barcelona, London, or Edinburgh.
This role is a unique opportunity to lead impactful user research initiatives that directly shape the product experience for a global platform. You\’ll work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, engineers, and data scientists to bring human insight into every stage of development. From discovery to delivery, you\’ll drive research that influences strategy, fosters empathy, and improves product decisions. Accountabilities:
- Conduct and lead both generative and evaluative user research to guide product strategy and UX decisions
- Partner with stakeholders across design, product, engineering, customer support, and data teams to triangulate insights and prioritize opportunities
- Design and manage scalable research programs and frameworks that enable continuous learning across teams
- Build deep expertise around key personas, pain points, and workflows to inform product direction
- Present findings through compelling storytelling, visualizations, and deliverables that drive alignment and action
- Mentor team members and advocate for research best practices across the organization
- Support research operations to increase quality, speed, and consistency in user insight gathering
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on UX research experience or equivalent expertise in related roles
- Proficiency in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods across discovery and validation
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to lead workshops and present to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ownership and leadership in designing and executing strategic research initiatives
- Comfortable working collaboratively in cross-functional product teams and managing through ambiguity
- Passion for understanding human behavior and driving product impact through actionable insights
- Based in or able to work remotely from the UK or Spain; presence in London, Edinburgh, or Barcelona is a plus
- Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or digital platform research
