Advertisement Details The Transport Assistant – Policy and Projects is responsible through the Transport Policy and Projects Officer for supporting an effective transport planning function within the Council and Shetland’s Transport Partnership, ZetTrans. It will focus on research, interpretation and communication of data to support the delivery of projects established as part of the Shetland Transport Strategy, the Development Directorate Plan and Council Wide programmes. The role will involve liaison with colleagues across the Council, NHS Shetland, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, other partner agencies locally and nationally, and two way public engagement. More detail is provided in the Job Profile, Person Specification and Conditions of Service Summary attached to the bottom of this advert. Additional Information The grade of this post is H. Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of Β£2,742 per annum.
