Developer Relations Engineer – Fully remote
An AI scale-up whose platform enables developers to build and deploy cloud applications using AI is recruiting a Developer Relations Engineer to join their growing team.
As a DevRel Engineer, you\’ll serve as the bridge between the team and the developer community. This technical role combines software engineering expertise with developer advocacy to shape both the product and community. You\’ll influence the developer experience by creating technical content, sample applications, and engaging with our community.
Role responsibilities include:
- Technical Content Creation: Writing blog posts, creating sample applications, and developing tutorials to showcase capabilities and best practices.
- Community Engagement: Participating in technical discussions, supporting our Discord community, and representing us at developer events.
- Developer Experience: Collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to improve documentation, SDKs, and developer tools.
- Sample Projects: Building and maintaining example applications demonstrating features and integrations.
- Technical Education: Delivering workshops, webinars, and live coding sessions.
- Product Feedback: Gathering and synthesizing community feedback to influence product development.
- Open Source: Contributing to open source projects and maintaining public repositories.
The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background with 3+ years of professional development experience, including experience working with AWS. Experience with Rust is preferred; however, candidates eager to learn Rust are also welcome.
