FT Recruitment Group have partnered with a global energy business as they look to hire a Senior Digitalisation Engineer on a permanent basis.
This exciting newly created role will report directly to the Digital Transformation Manager and will be responsible for:
- Drive and support the strategic development of individual sites and functions within the business through the implementation of digital innovations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive digitalisation strategy aligned with defined business objectives
- Manage the delivery of digital projects across all UK business units, ensuring timely and successful execution
- Develop and own digital value propositions that align with business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Support with the development and implementation of a business-wide digitalisation strategy to drive digital transformation
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation and recommend technologies to enhance operational performance
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and effectively communicate the value propositions of digital innovations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally to ensure the successful implementation of digital projects
- Work across the business to implement more standardisation of solutions
- Serve as a local point of contact for digitalisation support, consulting with the global business digital community
- Enthusiastically present and demonstrate digital solutions to internal stakeholders and customers, showcasing their benefits
- Provide training and support to internal teams relating to new digital tools and technologies
- Organise and execute digitally focused training sessions, actively promoting a change mindset towards digital approaches
Candidates should have experience working in a similar role and ideally have exposure to engineer, operational and digital technologies. Any exposure to Mobile Applications, MS SQL and Dashboard reporting is highly beneficial.
