Job Description:
The role
The PowerVR Graphics & Simulation Team is responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance C, C++, and System-C simulation models, assisting with integration into simulation platforms. These models are used for hardware verification, system performance estimation, and as a software development tool for external customers and internal engineers.
We need you to be involved in every stage of the development lifecycle for each project and collaborate with other engineering teams contributing to our industry-leading IP. Team members perform research, design, software development, and verification tasks.
You will:
- Design and maintain simulation models
- Help validate hardware and driver design
- Analyze and optimize platform simulation performance
- Support other engineers within the team

- A degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, or similar
- Strong knowledge of C and C++
- An understanding of computer architecture
- Knowledge of hardware design principles

- Understanding of computer graphics and APIs like OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX
- Knowledge of build systems (Make, CMake) and scripting languages (Python)
- Experience with concurrent systems
- Familiarity with SystemC
