Assembly Fitter
£12 – 13 an hour | Bedfordshire | Immediate Start Available
Standard day shifts | Overtime available | Friday lunchtime finish | Full training provided
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced or entry-level Assembly Fitter to join a specialist vehicle conversion company based in Bedfordshire. This growing business transforms standard cars and vans into bespoke vehicles for emergency services use – and they’re offering a permanent position with great benefits and a strong path for development.
Your Responsibilities as an Assembly Fitter:
- Strip down and rebuild vehicles for conversion
- Install specialist storage and racking systems
- Fit telematics, CCTV, and electrical components
- Carry out full interior fittings and modifications
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete high-standard work

- Trainee mechanics or Level 1/2 qualified vehicle technicians
