Seafreight Export Manager – Full-Time Basildon
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Seafreight Export Manager to join a growing and well-established freight forwarding business. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and in-depth experience across FCL and LCL/groupage export operations.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing the export seafreight team and ensuring the smooth, compliant, and cost-effective handling of all FCL and LCL shipments. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring strong operational knowledge and the ability to drive performance and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations for seafreight export, including FCL and LCL (consol/groupage) services

Lead, mentor, and support a team to achieve departmental KPIs and service levels

Manage bookings, documentation, carrier relations, and customs compliance
