My client is a large UK contractor who are seeking to recruit a Freelance MEP Site Manager for a £10M New Build Commercial Warehouse, temperature-controlled facility (food and beverage storage) for a period of 6 months based in Reading. My client is looking for an experienced MEP Manager with a proven track record and experience in MEP packages. Key duties: The MEP Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the following; * Looking after all M&E Services & Refrigeration on site. * Manage on-site Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for a temperature-controlled warehouse facility. * Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC/refrigeration systems, power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and BMS integration. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of temperature-critical systems. * Monitor quality, HSE compliance, and technical standards across all M&E activities. * Conduct inspections, oversee testing & commissioning, and ensure handover documentation is accurate and complete. * Resolve technical issues promptly to maintain project timelines and environmental control requirements.
