Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Systems – Facilities Management (FM)
Location: London and surrounding area
Salary: Potential earnings in excess of £80,000 with an uncapped commission scheme
The Role of Business Development Manager
You’ll take ownership of identifying, targeting, and securing long-term Fire & Security service contracts within the FM sector. Working closely with decision-makers in hard/soft FM companies, property management groups, and commercial estate clients, you will drive expansion through contract renewals, FM tenders, and integrated service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- FM Sector Engagement: Build strong relationships with FM providers, estate managers, and procurement leads to position our Fire & Security services as the preferred choice.
- Long-Term Contract Strategy: Develop tailored service proposals, maintenance contracts, and compliance packages for large-scale facilities.
- Multi-Site Solution Selling: Leverage our national coverage and PTSG’s group capabilities to create integrated, multi-discipline service propositions.
- Partnership Building: Influence contract specifications by working alongside technical, compliance, and service teams to deliver innovative, scalable Fire & Security solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in securing Fire & Security service contracts in the FM industry
- Existing relationships within hard/soft FM providers or large property portfolios
- In-depth knowledge of compliance-driven services such as Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Detection & Access Control
- Commercially driven, with a consultative sales style and solid grasp of recurring revenue models
