We are currently looking for a Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the UK on a remote basis. As the Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert, you will be responsible for leading assigned RWE studies, likely within the Neurology or Gene Therapy areas.
This is an initial 12 months contract with likely extension.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the RWE Expert, you will lead RWE & Real World Insight (RWI) study design, planning, and execution, including study concept and protocol development and analysis specification following best methodological standards.
2. As the RWE Expert, you will Drive the interpretation of Real World Data (RWD) analysis and communicate results and insights internally and externally.
3. As the RWE Expert, you will conduct targeted literature reviews to explore patient groups who may benefit from our treatments, contributing to Risk Management Plans (RMP), Safety reports, and strategic decisions.
4. As the RWE Expert, you will support the RWE Strategy Lead in developing relevant materials (i.e., presentations, reports, project plans) for internal and external stakeholders.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Real World Evidence (RWE) Expert we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, or a related scientific discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in working with real-world healthcare data such as USA claims data and UK CPRD.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with delivering RWE projects or real-world insights generation from conceptualization to publication within the pharmaceutical industry or with a recognized expert consultancy.
