We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the Renal Unit team for a full time role. Work closely with Consultant Nephrologists, Nurse Unit Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care in Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. The Position
As the Registered Clinical Nurse Consultant you will be responsible for:
Providing expert clinical consultancy and leadership in renal replacement therapies, serving as a role model in best practice
Assessing, implementing, and evaluating clinical interventions within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Collaborating with the off-site Nurse Unit Manager to lead and support hemodialysis and home therapy nurses
Developing and evaluating evidence-based clinical guidelines to enhance renal patient care and service delivery
Coordinating renal care services and identifying opportunities for improved accessibility and outcomes
Establishing and maintaining effective communication with statewide renal units and key stakeholders
Driving quality improvement, innovation, and research to enhance care delivery and minimize clinical risks
Creating a learning environment through coaching, education, and training for staff and students
Supporting safety, quality, and health initiatives, including safeguarding practices and Work Health & Safety compliance
