Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 to 12+ years of experience with technologies such as Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Citrix, VMware, and Windows Desktop platforms, including architecture, design, administration, and management of distributed systems.
- 7+ years of experience with Configuration Management, MDM, and deployment methods using SCCM and Intune.
- Understanding of Microsoft Patching Cycles & Policies, including WSUS and Windows Update Rings.
- Knowledge of emerging enterprise technologies like Azure, Intune, Windows Analytics, and Autopilot.
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and IT applications.
- PowerShell scripting skills.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve problems with systems, peripherals, and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networking, and software applications.
- Experience with system upgrades, migrations, and technology deployments, including Office 365 or Microsoft 365.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex desktop problems and implement solutions.
- Assist with pre-migration tasks like data backup and application compatibility checks.
- Perform hardware and software assessments for Windows 11 compatibility.
- Support for Citrix, VMware Horizon, Virtual Desktops, and Streaming Applications.
- Support for Dell hardware and storage products.
- Understanding of compliance and security best practices for desktops, servers, and Azure.
- Develop and promote operational documentation.
- Identify security risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Partner with InfoSec to enhance system management.
- Participate in on-call and incident resolution.
- Maintain system efficiency through upgrades and repairs.
