About the role
Benefact Trust, are looking for a Grants Administratorto join ourGloucesteroffice.
As Grants Administrator you\’ll be acting as the first point of contact for Benefact Trust and providing high-quality administrative support across the full grants cycle, ensuring efficient and impactful grant-making.

What you\’ll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for applicants, beneficiaries, and other external parties, providing effective support and guidance
- Logging new grant applications on the grants management system, carrying out initial eligibility checks, and inputting supplementary information
- Providing administrative support for the post-grant award process, including scheduling grant payments and communicating outcomes to beneficiaries
- Leading on the administration of multi-year payments for grants made on the
- Trust’s previous grants management system, including processing and sending cheques, updating payment records and reporting to finance colleagues
- Ensuring that records are managed and retained in accordance with Trust and Group policies
What you\’ll need to have
- Proven administrative and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Good attention to detail and the ability to undertake repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Good working knowledge of database management and IT systems, ideally grants management systems
- Effective relationship management experience
