We are looking for a Team Coordinator to join the Radiology Team at the Community Diagnostic Centre at Scarborough. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has enthusiasm, drive and is forward thinking. This role will be based within the Radiology Coordinator Team who arrange all of the CT, DEXA, Fluoroscopy, MRI, Ultrasound and Xray examinations at Bridlington, Malton and Scarborough Hospitals.
This is a dedicated team who are committed to providing a high quality service to our patients. It is paramount that the examinations are arranged with care and attention to detail to ensure that each patient receives the correct preparation, examination and treatment. We are looking for a coordinator to lead the Coordinator Team and support the Service Managers within Radiology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently line managing the team and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff on a daily basis, organising and prioritising your own workload and that of others. You must have the ability to exercise sound judgement in relation to problem solving operational issues on a day to day basis, and the ability to engage with and motivate a team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a changing and developing service working alongside the existing management team.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Required To
- Provide team line management support on a daily basis. The main focus being the essential management of the day-to-day operational issues, ensuring the smooth running of the service, including all HR management of sickness, etc.
- Maintenance and crucial development of clinics and appointment systems
- Monitor patient pathways and waiting lists and take action as appropriate
- Develop and lead the Scanning Administration Team
- Maintain excellent working relationships with the clinical teams
The post is 37.5 Hours per week to work Monday – Friday. Hours to be worked between 08.30 – 17:00 core service hours.
