Senior Road Freight Business Development Manager
A leading global logistics company is looking to add to their sales team with the appointment of a Senior Business Development Manager specialising within European Road Freight.

You will have a great suite of services at your disposal, working in a collaborative environment with Road Freight Product Heads as well as Operational teams and the opportunity to cross sell Air Freight and Ocean Freight. This role will focus on identifying, sourcing, developing and securing new business opportunities within European Road Freight, selling the companies core Groupage, Part Load and Full Load services.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and sourcing new leads
- Quoting and winning new business to achieve agreed annual targets
- Developing relationships with customers, on boarding, and working with Operations team to ensure successful service within agreed SOPs, meeting customers expectations
- Working collaboratively with Operational and Product teams
- Updating and ensuring all relevant information is captured within CRM/ Sales Management System
About you
- Experience in a hunter sales role with a focus on New Business Development
- Experience with building pipelines and developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong commercial focus and business acumen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
