Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Assistant (Information, Advice and Guidance)

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Assistant, within the Information, Advice and Guidance team in the School of Biological Sciences.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to be part of our Information, Advice and Guidance Team, supporting students and staff within the School of Biological Sciences, working collaboratively in accordance with good customer care principles.

You will have experience of working with administrative processes in a customer‑facing office environment. The role requires applicants who thrive in a busy team environment, who enjoy interacting with and supporting a wide range of people and who are flexible and responsive to customer needs. Strong organisational and accuracy skills are essential.

Excellent customer service skills are vital as you will be providing a face‑to‑face information, advice and guidance service via our School Student Support Hub and delivering other student experience related activities to our taught students.

Anyone wishing to work in a busy and challenging environment, who has an ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure and can ensure high quality procedures (that comply with University rules, regulations and policies) be applied consistently, is encouraged to apply.

This role includes occasional evening work.

Please note that it is a student‑facing role and therefore there is a requirement to be primarily based on campus.
