Job Description

General Manager – New London Opening

An established and highly successful international hospitality brand will launch in London as the first step in a wider UK growth plan. Known overseas for large format venues, high energy atmospheres, and strong commercial performance, the brand will now build its UK platform and is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the flagship opening.

This role will suit a General Manager who understands event driven, broadcast led environments and can balance intense trading periods with consistently warm, welcoming hospitality throughout the week. It will be a rare opportunity to join a proven concept at the very start of its UK journey, with clear progression into a senior operations role as the estate grows.

The role

The General Manager will take full ownership of the pre opening phase, the launch, and the long term performance of the restaurant. The venue will be large format, high volume, and socially driven, with multiple revenue streams and strong evening and weekend demand.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the full pre opening process, including recruitment, training, systems, and operational readiness
  • Managing a high volume, event driven operation with variable trading patterns
  • Building and developing a strong management team capable of delivering under pressure
  • Creating an engaging, high energy yet welcoming guest experience
  • Ensuring consistency across both busy services and everyday trading
  • Taking full accountability for the site P and L, labour strategy, and commercial performance
  • Working closely with founders and central teams as part of the UK growth plan
  • Supporting the development of scalable operating models for future openings
  • Building a culture of pride, accountability, and team development
