Transport Planner 5 days On- Site 35-37.5K (Salary) Worcester Responsibilities Plan and schedule deliveries and collections across the UK to ensure optimal use of fleet and resources. Coordinate with warehouse, drivers, customer service, and third-party carriers to meet delivery deadlines. Monitor vehicle movements using tracking systems, ensuring efficiency and adherence to time windows. Allocate loads to in-house and subcontracted drivers, ensuring compliance with fragile goods handling procedures. Prepare and issue driver manifests and route plans. Liaise with customers for booking slots, delivery queries, and service updates. Ensure legal compliance with transport regulations including driver hours, vehicle maintenance schedules, and health and safety. Support the administration and upkeep of rate cards and pricing for transport services. Respond to live issues including delays, route changes, or vehicle breakdowns.
