We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to join our dynamic team at BYD UK. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations, supporting our mission to provide innovative energy storage solutions.
Location: Hounslow/Birmingham, United Kingdom
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all administrative functions related to warehouse operations.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and shipments.
- Work closely with logistics, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient material handling.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Regularly reconcile shipping and receiving data with the HQ.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking, and documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to coordinate logistics
Ideal candidate profile:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics administration role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments is a plus.
- A current full clean UK driving licence
- Right to Work in the UK
