Applications are invited from suitably-experienced Staff Nurses to join our clients busy Acute Medical Inpatient Ward team at the major health facilityon the beautifulIsland of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. The Ward is one of two acute inpatient wards and treats a wide variety of Acute Medical conditions, and is supported by a both a 10-bedded Level 3 Critical Care Unit and a dedicated Medical Rehabilitation Ward. Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The current Band 5 salary range is £38,744 to £49,970plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave. The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of Britains finest and best-kept beaches , an especially mild and sunny climate , and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peters Port, the islands capital.
