We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Estimator to join our client’s busy site in Queenborough. This is a great opportunity to work for a respected automotive business, supporting the repair and damage estimation process for a wide range of vehicles.
The Role:
- Produce accurate vehicle damage estimates following industry standards.
- Use approved estimating systems to document and record all assessments.
- Prioritise and manage your workload efficiently to meet customer and business expectations.
- Collaborate with the technical team to communicate latest repair methods.
- Maintain compliance with operating procedures and safety standards.
- Review and enhance processes for workshop efficiencies.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
The Person:
- Proven experience in a similar vehicle estimating role is essential.
- Audatex certification (or equivalent) would be ideal but is not a deal breaker – hands-on experience is more important.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with workshop and technical teams.
- A customer-focused attitude with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
