School Caretaker – Lichfield
Part-time | Temporary | Start: January 2026 | Ongoing Contract
Teem Recruitment is seeking a Caretaker to join a welcoming school in the Lichfield area. This is a part-time, temporary role, starting immediately with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.
Working Hours
- 2pm–6pm (Monday – Monday)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the general maintenance, safety, and security of the school site.
- Carry out routine checks and repairs to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Manage site access, including daily unlocking and locking of the premises.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school through effective facilities management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a School Caretaker or Site Manager, with strong all-round maintenance skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance procedures in a school setting.
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently using your own initiative.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Available to start in January 2026.
