Job Description
Scientist II β Physical Testing
Deeside (Onsite)
12-month contract
Β£142.32 per day
We are seeking a Scientist II to support physical testing activities within a regulated medical devices/pharmaceutical laboratory. This role plays a key part in ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical testing in line with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and GxP standards
- Design, execute, and validate test methods
- Analyse and interpret data using statistical tools (e.g. MiniTab)
- Author validation protocols, reports, and technical documentation
- Support root cause investigations and CAPA activities
- Maintain accurate laboratory records in line with GLP/GDP
- Support day-to-day laboratory operations and compliance activities
Skills & Experience
- BSc in a relevant science discipline (mandatory)
- 2β3 yearsβ experience in a laboratory environment (medical devices or pharma preferred)
- Experience with MiniTab and LIMS
- Strong understanding of physical testing and quality systems
- Good communication skills and ability to support leadership teams
Working Conditions
- Onsite role in Deeside with occasional remote working by agreement
