Support Worker required to support a young male client aged 32 years old who live the Harwood area of Barnard Castle. We are hoping to find a live in support worker but please contact to discuss if you are interested in providing support without the live in element.
Hours /Wage
Hours per week can be discussed and agreed with employer, wage is £16 per hour and sleep in rate of £70 will be paid for 9 hour sleeping.
Duties
We are looking for someone who is keen to be involved in a young male with an exciting lifestyle who partakes in many exciting and adventurous activities.
Drivers license required as support worker will be required to use clients vehicle. We are looking for someone who will be supporting with outdoor activities, involving a lot of energetic activities such as bike riding, long walks, swimming, and various other water sports including wind surfing. Support will be required with personal care, behaviour management, social needs and paper work and various other day to day other life style needs.
Experience would be preferred but we are looking for someone who can build up a good relationship with the client and training can be given to support this.
The role may involve travelling to other parts of the UK and other countries so we would ideally like someone who holds a valid passport and is willing to be involved in these trips.
Additional Requirements/Information
The worker will be required to be self employed and hold valid self-employed carers insurance. Enhanced DBS will also be required.
