Facilities Officer Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (On-site 5 days per week) Salary £27,693 Per Annum Plus Benefits Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week (Monday Friday, Flexibility Negotiable) Thrive Homes has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Officer to effectively support the department. Proactive with your approach you will provide effective support to our head office and satellite premises, this will include providing office support services including general administrative functions, post and courier management, monitoring, ordering stationery; photocopying/printing equipment and office and kitchen supplies. Other Responsibilities: In conjunction with Health & Safety colleagues you will ensure office spaces are kept clean, safe and well maintained as well as keeping all consumables well stocked. With the support of your line manager, you will ensure all service contracts for the office are running well, ensuring any necessary repairs are undertaken promptly and that services provide good value. You will support Thrive with other duties and/or projects including GDPR support as requested by the line manager or senior team. Effectively provide first aid and fire marshal support (training provided). Provide hospitality for relevant meetings. Requirements: An understanding of facilities within an office-based setting. Strong administrative and IT skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to prioritise well, work to strict deadlines and have a great sense of teamwork. Your ability to role model our core behaviours is as important as technical expertise. The ability to be office-based 5 days per week. Self-motivated and proactive attitude to work is essential.
