Mobile Developer – React Native | EdTech Startup
Overview
Join one of the UK’s most exciting early-stage EdTech startups as our second engineering hire. This is a rare opportunity to get in early, help shape the technical direction of the company, and work on a product that makes a genuinely positive impact in education.
We’re building a platform that empowers students and educators with engaging, interactive learning experiences — and mobile is at the heart of it. As a React Native Mobile Developer, you’ll have the chance to directly influence how our product looks, feels, and functions for thousands of learners.
Base pay range
$50,000.00/yr – $60,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the founding team to design, build, and iterate on our core mobile platform
- Take ownership of frontend features, ensuring smooth and scalable implementation with React Native
- Deliver high-quality, performant mobile experiences that delight our users and improve learning outcomes
- Help shape our engineering culture and establish best practices for mobile development in a fast-moving startup
- Contribute to the product roadmap, bringing a strong focus on user needs, impact, and long-term scalability
Qualifications
