About the company: Our privately owned client has been established for over 25 years and is a leading remediation and brownfield contractor in the UK. Their expertise is within the treatment of contaminated soil and groundwater using a variation of chemical and biological processes; however they also offer a full package including demolition and site re-grading. Our client has worked on various sites including petro-chem refineries, military sites, landfills and petrol stations to name just a few and have several new and refurbished offices throughout the UK. Our client’s sustained growth is founded in its traditional approach to providing quality services to their clients, ensuring their specifications are met to the highest possible standards. Their proven track record has helped to secure projects from a number of market sectors from national civil infrastructure projects to new build housing contracts. About the opportunity: Due to company expansion and healthy order books, my client is recruiting permanently for a Senior Engineer to work closely with the Project Director to safely deliver high-quality, compliant remediation projects using various technologies in line with the remediation plans / project requirements. As a Senior Engineer, you will work on a range of framework schemes and one – off projects across UK, ensuring they are delivered on time and in line with planned costs and budgets. You will be responsible for actively developing and implementing projects with safety related documentation in accordance with the company IMS; liaising with the client and other contractors to enhance the smooth running of the project; completing commissioning steps including overseeing sub contractor works and ensuring quality system paperwork for site setup and system commissioning is completed and filed and seek appropriate technical support from the Project Manager and Technical team throughout the project to ensure remediation strategy is implemented, progressed and validated correctly, to name just a few duties. About the requirements: In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a professional qualification in engineering and a minimum of 4 years site experience, working specifically within the remediation / enabling works sector. You will hold proven experience of working on NEC3 and JCT forms of contract and be willing to travel throughout the UK as required. Due to project locations, you must hold a full UK driving license. About the benefits and rewards: For this opportunity, my client is offering a basic salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum. In addition to this, a generous package is offered which includes a car allowance, subsistence for working away, 25 days annual leave, private health care, enrolment on to their pension scheme, paid volunteering days and professional membership fees will be covered.
