The role

At Ravensbourne University London we\’re looking for a Workshop Technician for our workshop to cover evenings and weekends

Our Workshop Technician\’s are experts providing technical support, guidance, and advice to all users. You’ll ensure the smooth operation of our workshop during evenings and weekends, maintaining a space that’s functional, accessible, well presented and inspiring.

You will deliver outstanding technical support across a range of fabrication tools and technologies and ensure health and safety compliance and championing best practices across the workshop

You are…

  • Hands-on, safety-conscious, and passionate about helping others bring their ideas to life.
  • Skilled in operating both digital fabrication traditional and Workshop Technician, – woodworking, CNC machining, laser cutting, 3D printing
  • Proactive and dedicated to health and safety in the workshop, also quality and student support
  • Equipped with hands-on experience of working in workshop settings

You\’ll be working 27 hours weekly , supporting our team during evenings and weekends.

Working Pattern

First 6 weeks of semester:

Mon-Fri: 16:30-21:00

Last 6 weeks of semester:

Mon-Fri: 16:30-21:00

Sat: 10:00-14:30
