Project Architect Location: Liverpool (City Centre) Salary: Negotiable / Competitive An established, employee-owned, planning-led multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Project Architect to join its growing Liverpool-based design team. The practice delivers high-quality architectural and design services across the UK, supporting a wide variety of private and public sector clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a range of residential and commercial projects, often as part of an in-house team of planners, landscape architects, transport consultants, and sustainability experts. The successful candidate will be based in a collaborative, city-centre studio and will benefit from the organisation\’s national project portfolio and employee ownership model. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural work across all RIBA stages, with a focus on residential and commercial projects. Prepare detailed drawing packages, specifications, and construction documentation. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and colleagues across disciplines. Chair design and site meetings, produce minutes, and follow up on actions. Administer contracts, including JCT Minor Works and RIBA Domestic Contracts. Undertake regular site inspections to ensure high-quality delivery and technical compliance. Demonstrate commercial awareness, managing time and resources effectively. Required Skills & Experience Part III-qualified Architect with relevant post-qualification experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign (SketchUp desirable). Strong communication and coordination skills. Confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Full UK driver\’s licence required.
