Job Description: Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals KEY FIGURES / DIMENSIONS The successful candidate will be responsible for the integration and operational support of the Procured Cost base of the Belfast (UK) plant. REMARKS & MAJOR END RESULTS TO BE SOLVED IN THE POSITION Support the full and accurate visibility of the Buy Costbase in short, mid and long-term Support and consolidate the assessment of all risks & opportunities related to Current and next 5 years on RC costs (CoP & CoS) Ensure the follow-up of corrective measures defined to achieve the Buy targets. Guarantee the financial reliability and accuracy of any Business Case. Ensures Finance processes implementation and conformity (planning, budgeting & reporting processes), particularly guaranteeing full compliance of Buy processes with the Internal Financial Control Standards. Contributes & promotes financial awareness to Belfast management team. Contributes to continuous improvement of BuyControlling Processes through regular challenging of the activity, including targets setting (OP process) and KPI development and deployment. Support the Programme & VSM (Value Stream management) with the governance and messaging behind the Buy perimeter for A220 MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities – your mission… The successful candidate will be part of the Belfast Plant financial controlling team, reporting to the Head of Plant Belfast. Reporting, Forecasting & Risk anticipation/mitigation Consolidation & submission of multi year Operative Plan and cascade of annual budget Working & liaising with stakeholders in order to ensure alignment on the delivery of major forecasting milestones (FC1,2 &3) and OP Ensure Finance processes implementation and conformity (planning, budgeting & reporting processes), ensuring full compliance with the Internal Financial Control Standards Providing Robust Forecasting of RC costs against targets Guarantee the assessment of all risks & opportunities related to Recurring Costs Ensure the follow-up of corrective measures defined to achieve the targets Ensure rigorous processes are in place to maintain data integrity and guarantee accuracy of reported RC actual & forecast information Business Partnering Overall business partner to the BIM management team & act as the local focal point for Procurement Controlling in Belfast Build & maintain strong links to the operational teams within the plant and regular alignment and co-working with these teams is essential (physically and remotely) Contributes & promote financial awareness to the operational management team Provide upfront and robust alignment with the VSM and A220 controlling team regarding the Buy perimeter Data Integrity, Compliance & Governance Leadership Guarantee the financial reliability and accuracy of any Business Case Evaluate project appraisals & business cases to assist decision-making Monitor & challenge as necessary all discretionary investment and ensure that planned cash flows & NPVs are in accordance with the approved Business Case for the investment Lead the team in identifying and securing business improvements & project savings. Contributes to continuous improvement of BIM and Belfast/Wing Controlling Processes through regular challenging of the activity, including targets setting and KPI development and deployment Identify and assess financial Risks and Opportunities Propose and control all corrective measures and action plans to mitigate risks and achieve opportunities Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and deployment of new tools Ensure compliance of UK processes to Airbus Internal Financial Control Standards (IFCS) and Ethics and Compliance. Ensure that there is consistency, transparency and accuracy of all financial information Promote financial awareness and provide financial guidance to managers and their respective teams and ensure adequate processes exist to have stringent financial controls.
