Our client is a well-established company operating in the North West of England. They are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service and installation engineer who has considerable experience working on Commercial Projects such as offices, schools, colleges and renewable systems.
You\’ll be joining a supportive team that values quality workmanship.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Experienced in commercial air conditioning servicing and installation,
- City & Guilds level 2 award F-Gas and ODS regulations Category 1
- High level of interpersonal skills – good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write reports
- Quality workmanship and pride in work are a must
- Confident in your skills and abilities
- Good problem-solving skills and a positive, βcan-doβ attitude
- Electrical knowledge is a bonus, especially if you can read wiring diagrams and test circuits
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willingness to participate in a 1-in-6 on-call rota
What will your role look like?
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works across a wide variety of air conditioning systems
- Complete installation of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split systems, including pipework, wiring, mounting, brazing, condensate management, etc
- Experienced and time served in installing and working on a wide variety of air conditioning VRF/VRV and split systems
- Carry out PPM servicing.
- Commission of VRF/VRV, multi-split and split air conditioning systems
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and follow technical drawings
- Liaise closely with the project teams and company directors on a day-to-day basis
- Coordinate and control installations on site to ensure smooth delivery
- Where required, liaise closely with the client to maintain stakeholder relationships
- Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client-specific site requirements
