Job Opportunity: Personal Development Manager – Students Location: Cambridge Salary: Up to £39,190 per annum Hours: Full time (37 hours per week) We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Student Services team as a Personal Development Manager – Students. In this role, you will be responsible for managing teams that focus on the personal development of students, including tutorial content, personal development portfolios, enrichment activities, and employability skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage teams involved in student personal development, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service. Oversee the development of the centralised Personal Development Provision, including the Personal Development Portfolio, Student Voice, Students’ Union Executives, Personal Development Coaches, and Enrichment Officers. Ensure successful student progression and positive post-college destinations.About You:We are looking for a dynamic manager who is passionate about the personal development and success of young people. You should have proven experience in managing personal development programs, ideally within an educational or young people’s service setting. Key skills and qualifications include: Experience in working with young people, preferably within the FE sector. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent). A Teaching or Coaching Qualification. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage teams to achieve excellent outcomes. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
