BMS Commissioning Manager – Central London Are you ready to join a leading company in the Building & Energy Management Systems (BEMS) that leverages innovative technologies to deliver outstanding solutions for the built environment? The company are looking to take on a BMS Commissioning Manager to join their dynamic team. The BMS Commissioning Manager position In this role, you will manage and schedule commissioning engineers working across multiple projects. The role requires the ability to provide technical support, assessment and development of commissioning engineers along with the provision of commissioning progress information for project managers, contracts managers and directors. This role will be based within Central London. Main responsibilities * Ensuring commissioning engineers comply with all current legislation, company policies, MSRAs, site rules and toolbox talks associated with commissioning tasks. * Managing the commissioning process to ensure engineers set to work building management systems and associated mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with the approved contract documentation, specifications and drawings. * Source, interview and engage suitably qualified permanent or subcontract commissioning engineers to meet business requirements. * Attend commissioning meetings on and off site as and when required. * Work with project managers and engineers to identify and develop commissioning procedures and techniques. * Work with the project managers and the engineering departments to successfully deliver individual projects ensuring they are adequately staffed and delivered in a timely manner. * Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest technical standards. * Ensure company quality standards are upheld. [ISO 9001 / 14001 Quality Control System] * Ensure all testing and validation is done using calibrated meters and test equipment. * Ensure BMS and controls comply with approved contract documentation. * Anticipate difficulties and proposes solutions. * Ensure that as built information presented to the engineering team is of an appropriate standard. * Ensure that all commissioning engineers provide accurate and timely completion of commissioning documentation and daily work records. Experience required * Technical qualification in an appropriate discipline (e.g. Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) to ONC/HNC standard or above. * Sound working knowledge of building services mechanical and electrical systems. * Sound working knowledge of Trend, Distech, Tridium, Delta control systems. * Sound working knowledge of relevant industry standards i.e. BS7671, CIBSE and BSRIA guides. * IT literacy skills * CSCS Card Holder. * Valid SMSTS qualifications. * Full Clean UK driving license. * Networks with BMS controls industry to keep up-to-date with technological, and product developments.
