Senior AML Analyst - Payments Monitoring

Europe Arab Bank is looking to hire a senior payments analyst, with experience in advanced sanctions escalations, to join us for a 12 month contract in our Mayfair office. Candidates should come from comparable banking roles and be sufficiently experienced to hit the ground running. Experience with “advanced” escalations for sanctions Primary responsibility for Payments screening (sanctions). Supervision and first point of contact for Payments and Payment related matters including Payment Systems and sanctions hits follow ups. Assistance in AML Advisory and Trade Escalations and Compliance Mailbox Cover. Executes supervisory and coordination duties related to payments screening. Investigating at Level 3 escalations (Fircosoft) potential customer, Swift message, payment, trade finance and transaction related alerts for potential matches against watch lists to ensure compliance with sanctions laws. Fircosoft Procedure Documentation maintenance. Day-to-day management of the Fircosoft escalation at Level 3, management of the Sanctions inbox and follow up CGSS qualification advantageous
