Stage Manager The Palace Theatre & Opera House are stunning, large-scale historic theatres located at the heart of Manchester City Centre. We host work from leading UK and international producers enabling the most spectacular West End and Broadway shows to visit the North West alongside drama, classical and contemporary dance, live music, comedy and one-night specials. The theatres host around 650 performances each year, with longer runs of major musicals mixed with week-long tours and one-night shows. We work increasingly in partnership with producers to open new shows or launch national tours. We are recruiting for the position of Stage Manager for the Manchester ATG Entertainment venues, to be based at Manchester Palace. You will be part of the senior technical team liaising with visiting productions regarding their staffing and any requirements during their stay. Under the Technical Manager you will lead on the maintenance of the venue’s stage machinery, flying system and any equipment within the department, you will assist the full time team in managing a pool of casual technicians and support the Technical Manager in maintaining a positive safety culture.
