Join our high performing eFX Digital Technology team supporting our front office projects in the Commodities and Global Markets Technology group and work with a multitude of teams and stakeholders to solve problems and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

What role will you play?
You will be a hands-on developer leading a team of talented software engineers in our FX Technology team to drive technical transformation in a fast-paced front-office environment and support the growth of our dynamic business to achieve client driven end-to-end eTrading solutions. You will be responsible for helping deliver the FX and Commodities eTrading projects which includes engineering large scale distributed systems while liaising with dependent teams for a seamless execution. You will be immersing yourself in a high-stakes electronic trading environment.
What you offer
- Hands-on software engineering background with a thorough understanding of Agile product software development processes and lifecycle
- Experience with modern Java at the enterprise level and experience with cloud deployed systems – Amazon Web Services (AWS). As well as this, experience with Scala/Akka/Other Streaming Technologies preferred.
- Proven track record successfully managing technical engineering and DevOps in a results-driven environment
- Ability to build strong working relationships and work successfully in cross-functional teams and an enthusiastic team-player and leader with self-starting ability and comfort in autonomy
- Experience delivering trusted and timely solutions to difficult, business-critical problems
