Great opportunity to work as a Despatch / Warehouse Operative for a food production site. Staffline is recruiting for a Despatch / Warehouse Operative to work in Poole, Dorset The rate of pay is: – Days £12.97 per hour (6am-6pm) – Nights £16.21 per hour (6pm-6am) (Overtime is available at this site and is paid at £19.45 per hour.) The shift patterns available are: 3on 3off – 6am to 6pm 3on 3off, 6pm to 6am Your Time at Work As a Despatch / Warehouse Operative at this site your duties will include: – Timely and 100% accurate supply of product to the customer – Product picked and loaded onto vehicles according to plans – Pick any customer's product available to them or instructed to at the required picking in rates – Ensuring that pallets/trays are maintained in compliance with our customer's requirements – Having 99% picking accuracy – Eliminating returns due to picking errors – Paperwork to be filled in clearly and accurately – Keeping the correct stock in the correct locations – Ordering by date order and hence rotate stock – Identifying stock required for completion of orders – Recording stock by quantity, location, data code (UB), promotional information, at the dedicated time This role is very physical, involving picking and loading products onto pallets and standing on your feet all day. Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Despatch / Warehouse Operative will need to demonstrate a high level of literacy and numeracy and have warehouse experience. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential. Previous experience working within a similar role is required.
