We are looking for someone with Deputy General Manager Experience to be based at our newly opened village in Henley Upon Thames. 

At Audley we develop and run villages with the wow factor that enhance the lives of our owners, their family and their friends. We offer stylish apartments and houses complete with the best facilities from bistros and bars to health clubs and swimming pools. And, of course, exceptional service throughout. It\’s retirement, but not as the UK has known it.

The Deputy General Manager is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service to Audley property owners and external customers visiting on site.  They are responsible for the leadership of the village team including recruitment, development and engagement so they can deliver our care and hospitality services, ultimately to drive the commercial profitability of the village.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* establishment is a must 
  • Natural leader and commercially astute, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about customer service using a genuine and approachable manner.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead and develop a team of approximately 50 employees and influence across all areas of the business.
  • Hands on approach and take proactive role with departmental managers in order to identify and support needs at all levels.
