About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean and well-managed environment for our staff and students. Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a range of tasks, including site security, maintenance and general upkeep.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, takes initiative, and is confident managing their own workload. Strong time management, good attendance and punctuality are essential. If you’re committed to keeping things running smoothly and take pride in maintaining high standards, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
- Qualifications:Level 3 qualification or equivalent and GCSE Maths & English qualification at grade C/4 or above.
- Experience:Proven experience in support services, with strong administration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a facilities team.
- Expertise:You will have an awareness of key health & safety procedures relevant to the role (e.g. manual handling, working at height, COSHH, First Aid) and the ability to recognise and respond to emergency situations. Good IT skills are also essential for the role.
- Skills:Proactive and flexible with a positive attitude, able to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work well with colleagues.
