Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead Allegra (also known as Allevia in the UK) in key Western Europe markets, being the UK the most important market in the zone with biggest opportunities but also some of other WE markets, like Switzerland and Austria or Belgium.
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of the Allegra brand locally, driving performance, market share growth, and brand equity. Based in Reading-UK, this position will report to the Zone Brand Lead in a Global structure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams as well as the country head to ensure Allegra continues to outpace the market, keep growing and consolidate its leadership position increasing gap for competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Lead the brand in the UK, and some of the WE markets by developing and executing brand activation plans and key initiatives, ensuring alignment with global priorities while addressing local market dynamics.
- Ownership of brand’s performance : Brand Health, market share and full P&L management, forecasting, demand and inventory planning.
- Campaign Management : adapt and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional media, and healthcare professional channels to build brand awareness, love and drive conversion.
- Product Portfolio : Oversee the product portfolio, including short and long term launches (new SKUs, line extensions etc).
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Strong partnership with cross-functional teams, including local sales, shopper, media, medical, regulatory, and supply chain as well as global / central teams, to deliver seamless execution of brand plans.
- Consumer Insight : Leverage market research and consumer insights to shape marketing plans, ensuring relevance and resonance with target audiences.
- Agency Management : Lead external agencies in the development and adaptation of creative assets and media plans, ensuring high-quality output and ROI.
- Compliance & Governance : Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in the markets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in brand management, preferably within OTC, FMCG, or healthcare sectors.
- Leadership and project / initiatives management skills : demonstrate accountability and ownership & skills to envision, engage, enable, and execute.
- Demonstrate will to go beyond and “can do” mindset.
- Act for change – embrace change and innovation and initiate new & improved ways of working.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of collaborating across diverse teams.
- Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for winning.
- Commercial Awareness With Experience Managing P&L Responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the UK healthcare market can be an advantage.
