We are recruiting for a driven Associate to join our successful Property Litigation team based in Bristol. This is a full-time position, and we offer hybrid working as part of our flexible working policy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious property litigator to develop their career as part of our Band 2 Chambers UK and Tier 2 Legal 500 ranked real estate litigation team. Further to this, you would be supporting Emma Cork (Partner), who has been acknowledged as a \”key lawyer\” in the Legal 500, and Mark Routley (Partner and Head of Property Litigation), who is ranked as a Band 1 individual in Chambers UK.

Your Role

  • Managing your own matters and working on a broad range of commercial landlord and tenant disputes, and some residential landlord and tenant disputes.
  • Providing an excellent service for clients across our key sectors.
  • Working with the team on a regional and national basis, to achieve key goals for the property litigation team and the firm.
  • Collaborating with the Partners in the team to look after our relationship with our key clients and to participate in business development initiatives.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be/have:

  • A Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered), ideally NQ -3 PQE, with experience working on a property litigation caseload.
  • A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development, and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in your practice area and sector focus
  • The ability to understand your client\’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to our collaborative culture
