Job Description

As a BMS HMI Systems Integration Engineer, in Cambridge, you will be responsible for the integration of various systems into our Building Management Systems (BMS) Headend, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency across multiple industries and acting as technical support for the client. In this role, you will impact the design and implementation of integrated systems that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience in building management. This is a fixed site role, based out our client site 5 days a week.

As a BMS HMI Systems Integration Engineer, in Cambridge, you will be responsible for the integration of various systems into our Building Management Systems (BMS) Headend, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency across multiple industries and acting as technical support for the client. In this role, you will impact the design and implementation of integrated systems that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience in building management. This is a fixed site role, based out our client site 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Intercom into BMS Headend.
  • Create graphics using HMI Web Display Builder or similar tools.
  • Map points to graphics within Building Management Systems Headend.
  • Configuring new CCTV and integrate to DVM (Digital Video Manager) and EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator)
  • Working with the customer to understand their needs and demonstrate system functionality

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems and integration protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) or similar BMS head end software, knowledge and experience of CPO, Care, Tridium or Trend software would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of Open Platform Communications (OPC) for open connectivity in automation along with experience withing networking, configuring IP and Cloud based systems
  • Experience in Temaline or similar access control systems including configuring card holder database functions, adding new controller, doors etc
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
