Rail SMTH Tester – North West & South West Route – Permanent – £41,000 – £50,000 ARM are working exclusively with a multi-disciplinary engineering company within the rail market and we are currently recruiting for Rail SMTH Testers for positions in England on a permanent basis. You will also have held or hold PTS (Personal Trackside Safety). • You will need to be able to drive in this position, as the nature of the work, will see you travelling and sometimes to areas that can be remote on the line. Our client is winning work packages with Network Rail and supporting other companies work on the network. Your role will be to conduct SMTH testing and working with their customers when doing so, with a safety first approach in mind. The company are also looking to multi-skill SMTH testers to be able to carry out functional testing too. We are looking for people who are willing to travel to areas on the South West or North West route from their home. Travel is paid for and accommodation also, should it be required. Private Medical Insurance, 33 Days Annual Leave (Including Bank Holidays), Overtime and Work Allowance. As well as support to learn new skills such as functional testing. We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis. As part of the checks conducted, D&A testing and other compliance for Sentinel and PTS will be checked and undertaken prior to starting.
