DevOps Engineer – Remote-First (NI/Ireland)
Are you a motivated DevOps Engineer looking for a role where you can help a local company grow, steady the ship, and take real ownership of infrastructure? MCS Group are partnering with our client to search for a DevOps Engineer to join their tight-knit team!
This is a new role, which means you\’ll have a lot of room to shape it, this client is all about being smart with resources, practical with solutions, and are looking for someone ready to make a real impact at a small but growing company.
What you\’ll work on:
- Managing and scaling Linux-based infrastructure
- Day-to-day DevOps, infrastructure, and microservices support
- Maintaining and optimising MySQL databases
- Supporting the team with deployment pipelines, backups, and general operational sanity
- Helping plan for scale
What You\’ll Need:
- Experience in Linux server admin
- Comfort working with MySQL
- Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP ideally)
- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code, containers, etc.
