This position is within a shared service which supports a wide array of customers with distinct needs. Flexibility to apply your skills across various accounts will be essential to support the teamβs overarching objective of delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring robust estate maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the virtualisation environment (VMWare)
- Windows Server administration 2016-2022
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex infrastructure issues
- Apply best practice principles to optimise service delivery and operations
- BAU Support activities
- Server infrastructure monitoring and lifecycle management
Your experience:
- Experience working in a 3rd Line support role
- Experience supporting MS Office applications
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- VMWare vSphere Infrastructure, VMWare Horizon
- Microsoft System Centre (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM)
- Trellix and/or TrendMicro Security Products
- Veeam backup and recovery
- PowerShell scripting for automation and data mining
- Developing and maintaining documentation
- Mentoring and coaching junior technical engineers
Desirable:
- Microsoft Windows 10/11
- SharePoint 2016 Administration and maintenance
- Microsoft Exchange
- Basic Linux administration
- ITIL methodologies
